Experience
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., once said: "Intelligence plus Character. That is the goal of true education." I take this statement to heart for myself and for how I approach my work as a tutor. I am currently a junior at George Washington University, where I am studying Biomedical Engineering. My tutoring experience dates back to high school. I attended high school in France, where I lived for six years. French is my native language, and I have taught French to girls in Switzerland who were attending a program for summer school. At Montgomery College, where I earned an associate degree in Bioengineering, I worked as a Math tutor. My academic passions are Math and Science. I especially love Math and can tutor every subject and level from elementary all the way to Calculus 2. Math, as I mentioned, is the subject I love the most, and Calc is my favorite within Math. As a tutor, I like to be persistent while also ensuring that the student is relaxed. I have found that this is essential in creating an optimal environment for learning. I live in Washington, D.C. In my spare time, I like to explore places I have never been, and I enjoy a good game of badminton.
