My name is LaVonne, and I attended the University of the District of Columbia, which is the only public university in the nation's capital and the only urban land-grant university in the United States. I also attended Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland. My tutoring experience, which spans more than 13 years, is mostly with students in middle and elementary schools. I really enjoy working with young people to help them reach their goals, and like the satisfaction and rewards that come with being a tutor.
