I am a tutor with over a decade of experience working with students. I specialize tutoring mathematics, including algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, and trigonometry. I began tutoring students when I was in high school, and I have continued to share with students my passion for education and math up through my adult life. I received my degree in Economics at the University of Maryland College Park and I'm now working towards my master's in Financial Management from the University of Maryland University College. I have always been passionate about mathematics. I enjoy watching my students discover the real world applications of math. As a tutor I use a lot of visual aids, including a white board that I bring to all of my sessions so that I can write and draw things out for my students to see. I think that the combination of listening and seeing when learning is beneficial to a student's overall understanding of a subject. In my free time I love watching sports, listening to music, and reading. I'm also an avid golfer.
