My name is Lakashia and I am from Laurel, MD. I graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the prestigious University of Medicine and Dentistry. I have earned my M.A. in public health, which had major of biostatistics. I also have a B.A. in engineering science. Also, I have tutored students since I was in high school.I truly love when one of my students has that light bulb moment when you know everything just finally clicked for them. This is when you know that they have now truly connected with the material that they are studying.Some of the subjects that I find the most interest in include elementary and middle school math, statistics, chemistry, biology, earth science, life sciences, special education, bio-statistics, and all levels of calculus and algebra. I also enjoy trigonometry, arithmetic, and statistics graduate level.In my free time, I enjoy cooking, running, and singing. I aspire to run a marathon of 10k one day in the future.
