Experience

I have a bachelor's in Anthropology, Linguistics, and Asian Studies. I received my education from Rice University. I've had the privilege of tutoring for a few years, and I thoroughly enjoy being able to help my students reach learning goals. One of the subjects I frequently tutor is math, and I enjoy this topic a great deal.During my experience tutoring, I've learned that connecting with the student is the key to getting the point across. The desire from the student has to be there, but my I feel my role is to make difficult topics easier to understand as much as I possibly can. This can be especially true when it comes to algebra because of all of the complicated equations that are involved.I also love teaching English to my students because I know the extreme importance that this topic plays throughout life. It's important to be able to speak and write well to land a good job. This will help you be as successful as you can be in life.My hobbies include reading, cooking new recipes, and I love playing a variety of board games. I feel it's important to enjoy time off as much as I do enjoy tutoring.
